ADDITIONAL CASHBACK REWARDS PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Additional Cashback Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), which are incorporated into the Slickdeals Terms of Service (“TOS”), cover your participation in the Slickdeals Cashback Rewards Program (“Program”), formerly called the Slickdeals Loyalty Program, offered by Slickdeals, LLC (“Slickdeals”). The Program gives our users opportunities to earn Points under the Program (“Points”) through their activation of Slickdeals Cashback Rewards. Points may then be redeemed through PayPal or gift cards from participating merchants. The Program is considered part of Slickdeals’ Services. Capitalized terms used and not defined in these Terms have meanings in the TOS. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details on how we use your information as part of your participation in the Program.

Eligibility
In order to participate in the Program, you will need to have a Slickdeals account and activate Cashback Rewards. Please note that we may determine in our sole discretion whether you are eligible to participate in the Program. You agree to provide accurate and complete information, and it is your responsibility to ensure that your registered email address with Slickdeals is correct and up to date.

We no longer require download and installation of our Extension to participate in the Program, although certain benefits and Points opportunities may still only be available to Extension users. We reserve the right to change that again in the future. These Terms apply to all variations of the Program except where we note exceptions.

Earning Points

When you participate in the Program, you may have the opportunity to earn Points from certain actions. The number of Points you can earn and any other additional requirements or terms will be described in connection with each offer. Please read these additional terms carefully before deciding whether or not you would like to participate. For example, an offer may have limitations like the maximum number of uses of the offer, the minimum amount you must spend for a purchase in order to start earning Points, the maximum Points or cash value allowed for earning or redemption, or specific exclusions of certain merchants or products.

Once you earn Points, your Points will be pending until they are available for redemption, and this timeframe will vary by merchant because each merchant’s verification requirements and policies are different. We maintain the right to review the accrual of Points and determine in our and the merchants’ sole discretion whether certain actions meet the qualifications for Points. In some cases, a merchant may decide that your purchase doesn’t meet its requirements, in which case you may not receive Points (e.g. a merchant may determine a laptop that you purchase does not qualify as a tablet in a deal applying only to tablets).

Users do not acquire property rights in pending or accrued Points. Points in the Program may not be bartered or sold and are nontransferable, including in the event of death.

You are solely responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from your participation in the Program, accruing or redeeming Points or from any other benefits or bonuses you receive from the Program.

Limited, Beta and Other Special Offers

Some Program opportunities and benefits may be available on a temporary or trial basis, or subject to additional or different terms. For example, we may temporarily offer the ability to accrue extra Points for a limited time or to users who meet certain qualifications (such as referring other users), or additional rewards options for redeeming Points. The limitations and terms that apply to these special offers (“Special Offer Terms”) will be clearly spelled out in our descriptions of those offers. If there are conflicts between these Terms and the Special Offer Terms, the Special Offer Terms will govern. We reserve the right to modify or terminate special offers at any time, with or without notice.

Redeeming Points

Points are redeemable through PayPal or gift cards from participating merchants. Once you choose to redeem Points through PayPal or a gift card, PayPal or the participating merchant will process your request. Certain types of gift cards (e.g. from particular merchants) may be subject to availability. When you redeem Points through PayPal, PayPal will send you instructions, including any instructions about account creation, email linking or email verification. Once your redeemed Points are shown as funds available in your PayPal account, you can choose to use those funds in any manner allowed by PayPal, including receiving a cash payment. It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is up to date and eligible under PayPal’s policies and other requirements.

You understand and agree that PayPal and participating merchants for gift cards are third-party providers. Your use of these gift cards, PayPal, and any other third-party services is subject to their terms and policies, including any fees, expirations, exclusions and any other limitations. For example, PayPal may charge a fee if you choose certain redemption or delivery options, like having a check mailed to you, or may debit purchases and charges against funds held in your PayPal account. Slickdeals disclaims any liability arising out of or from your use of third-party platforms and services. Without limiting the prior sentence, Slickdeals is not responsible for any purchases you make, or fail to make, using gift cards, and Slickdeals is not responsible for lost or stolen payments through PayPal, or for the delivery of payments to the wrong PayPal account. In the case of any dispute between you and a third party for any reason, you may make a claim directly with the third party and agree that we are not responsible for any such claim.

We may deduct Points that have accrued in your account, including in cases where a participating merchant cannot verify or does not have a record of your purchase or disqualifies your purchase. In addition, we may deduct Points from your account if we determine in our sole discretion that there has been fraudulent activity associated with your account or a breach of these Terms. You give Slickdeals permission to review any of your accounts you may have with participating merchants in order to verify qualifying purchases under our Program. Once your redemption through PayPal or a gift card has been processed, no changes, refunds or return of Points is permitted.

Points Expiration
For Points accrued after October 15, 2022: To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, if your account becomes inactive, any Points that have not been redeemed will expire and be removed from your account. If you have had a qualifying Cashback Rewards transaction under your account in the prior 12 months, your account will be considered active. Slickdeals may also decide that other actions qualify as “active” in its sole discretion.

For Points accrued before October 15, 2022: Expiration rules are not changing. Except where prohibited by law, Points that have not been redeemed for two years from the time such Points were accrued (i.e. no longer pending) will expire and be removed from your account.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we may modify our Points expiration rules and policies for any Points in the Program from time to time, and if your Points expire pursuant to such then-current rules or policies, we may remove such Points from your account, without any compensation or further obligation to you regarding the expired Points.

Termination, Suspension, Closure

We may disqualify you from the Program and/or suspend or terminate your account (with or without notice) according to the TOS or if we find or suspect that you are interfering with the Program, engaging in any conduct that is detrimental or unfair to us or Slickdeals’ partners, or acting in violation of these Terms or other rules or policies shown on our website. This includes:

1. Violating applicable law,
2. Abusing the Program,
3. Trying to circumvent any of these Terms,
4. Submitting false information or conducting other fraudulent activity, or
5. Creating multiple accounts.

We reserve the right to disqualify from the Program anyone who has been terminated or suspended for misconduct from any other Slickdeals Services, or from a promotion or program of any of our affiliates.

If we suspend or terminate your account or disqualify you from the Program, unredeemed Points may be forfeited.

If you decide to close your account while you still have unredeemed or pending Points, any unredeemed or pending Points will be forfeited.

Program and Terms Changes

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slickdeals reserves the right to amend, suspend, change or terminate the Program in whole or in part, including special offers at any time with or without notice, provided that Slickdeals will allow at least six months for you to redeem any accrued Points.

SLICKDEALS MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY OF ANY INFORMATION DISPLAYED IN ANY GRAPHICAL INTERFACE MADE AVAILABLE BY SLICKDEALS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROGRAM. SLICKDEALS DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR FROM YOUR USE OF THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND SERVICES.

SLICKDEALS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING MERCHANTS AND PAYPAL, ANY PURCHASES YOU MAKE FROM MERCHANTS, OR ANY CHANGES TO, INCLUDING ANY DISCONTINUANCE OF, MERCHANT STORES OR THEIR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM. IN PARTICULAR, SLICKDEALS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY LIMITATIONS ON, CHANGES TO, OR DISCONTINUANCE OF ANY OFFERS, PROMOTIONS OR COUPONS MADE AVAILABLE BY MERCHANTS.
